Biography
My name is Jonah Vetter, and I'm currently attending Brookfield East High School in Brookfield, Wisconsin. I love baseball, and I have been playing for 10 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Faith and family are two huge motivators for me, and these two things have helped me through challenges. I am a strong student, and enjoy English, History, and Marketing. I am in a college prep course, AVID, which prepares students for the rigor of college courses. This course also helps with organization, as well as public speaking skills. I have always been a strong baseball player throughout my career, and have consistently been one of the better players on each team I've played on. My Freshman year I hit over .400 and lead our JV2 team in stolen bases (18) , hits (20), and runs scored (19); I also hit one home run. My Sophmore year I played on our JV1 team, and lead the team with a batting average of .375, as well as leading the team in hits (21) and runs scored (19). On the defensive side of the ball I played every position besides first base my Freshman year. In my Sophmore year I was primarily an outfielder and backup third basemen. I won the Golden Glove award my Sophmore year with a perfect fielding percentage. I also won Sliver Slugger award and team MVP. I bring hustle, speed, consistency and respect to a team, and I'm always looking to learn and break down my game to improve. Most importantly, I always pick up my team.
