Biography

Hi my name is Melina, I'm 17 years old and I am Senior at Woodbridge High School in NJ (class of 2022). I've been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and competing in track since I was in 5th grade. I'm an extremely hard worker and disciplined on and off the field. I always prioritize my school work and I've achieved a 3.9+ GPA while challenging myself with multiple AP and Honors classes during my high school career. At the same time, I've been a starter on my High School Varsity Soccer and Track (Indoor and Spring) since my Freshman year, as well as playing on an EDP club Soccer team year-round. I've had significant achievements on and off the field as well. I've attained Honor Roll every semester in High School, was inducted into the National Honor society and working hard to graduate in the top 10% of my class. On the field, I was named to the All GMC Soccer Team in 2020, scored 12 goals and 5 assists in my junior year (Top 75 in NJ) and have already scored 14 goals and 6 assists 2/3 through my current/last high school soccer season. I've also experienced success in Outdoor Track where I placed top 3 in 3 different events at the 2021 GMC championships (800m, 400m and 400M hurdles) and competed in the NJSIAA State championships. Outside of school and sports, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (I have a younger sister and brother), listening to music, watching movies and anime and being active outside.
