About Me

My name is Madysin Claire Girouard. I am 17 years old. I was born October 26th, 1999. I currently attend New Iberia Senior high. I am a junior. I started playing soccer at the age of 8, and from there I absolutely fell in love with the game. I practice every day on my own time as well as with my club, high school, and ODP team.
. After trying out for the Louisiana ODP team three years ago, I made the team. I really love soccer and want to play college soccer at the highest level possible. I want to continue playing soccer after college and play professionally. I am a hard worker and a very dedicated player. I am a determined player that is willing to do whatever is necessary to elevate my game.


Beginning of my soccer career

I began my youth year of soccer at the age of 8, where I played at Iberia Soccer Association. I played recreational soccer for two years, then tried out for the u-12 competitive team and made it. I played up my first year of competitive soccer and continue to play up 1 year.

Competitive soccer

At the age of 10, I made the u-12 competitive team, ISA F-5, at Iberia Soccer Association where I played up 1 year. I played at highest level my club had to offer. I continued to grow as a player and my love for the sport continued to grow as well. The next year I tired out for the u-13 competitive team, ISA Crush, at Iberia Soccer Association, and made it. The following year, (2011-2012), I made the u-14 competitive team, ISA Crush. In (2012-2013) I made the ISA Crush u-15 competitive team. In (2013-2014) I played on ISA Crush, and we moved up an age group and played u-16. The next year I made the u-17 competitive team at Iberia Soccer Association, where I continued to play at the highest level my club had to offer. I decided to move to a bigger and more skilled club so I now play for (brsc) Baton Rouge Soccer Complex,
BRSC 99 GIRLS BLACK. (2015-2016) we made it to the La state championship! I also play on our club GSPL league.
(2016-2017) BRSC 99 GIRLS BLACK- We are La State Champs!!!

ODP

(2014-2015), was my first year as an ODP player where I played for my state team, Louisiana.
(2015-2016) ODP. I was nominated for the regional team.

High School Soccer


(2014-2015), was my first year of high school. I walked on the varsity team at New Iberia Senior High,. I started every varsity game as a freshmen. I played center-mid/ d-mid and currently play center-mid for both high school soccer and competitive soccer. I was named MVP of the varsity team, my freshman, sophomore, and jr year. I am currently team captain of the varsity team!

Currently where I play

I currently play for the (BRSC).Baton Rouge Soccer Complex. There I play up 1 year on the U18 girls competitive team, and on our GSPL league team, at the highest level my club offers. I play high school soccer at New Iberia Senior High, N.I.S.H. I also played my last year with ODP.

ACADEMICS

I have maintained a 4.0 my whole life and continue to do so today. I am enrolled in all honor classes and I am currently ranked #1 in my class.


OUTSIDE OF SOCCER


Being that I play a full 90 minutes in all of our games I need to maintain the best condition possible so I run cross country for high school. This year was my first year and I was awarded 1st team all state. I train 3-4 times a day with conditioning!
