Biography

I have been on the varsity football team since i was in 8th grade and got to learn under Joseph Brunell who is currently playing at Georgetown for football. Before my Junior season I was not able to play often but, whenever I got into the game I know that I need to make the most of whatever situation, good or bad. This past May I dislocated my shoulder and torn the labrum in a workout that required surgery. Sadly, I was not able to play in the spring game which was important to me because as a football player you only get 1 game per week, so you must take advantage of the moment. The road to recovery was tough physically and mentally because I was very limited in the summer workouts, but I kept my head up and kept rehabbing my shoulder. During fall camp I won the quarterback battle and started in the kickoff classic, i played well but still did not feel like myself. For the next couple of games I got limited playing time as I was beginning to become more confident. For the final 4 games of the season I won the starting job back and played with the most confident I have ever felt. Since I knew I was battle tested, I ended the season with 8 combined touchdowns(6 passing and 2 running) in the final four games. Even though the season did not start the way I wanted it to, I know that it is not about how you start it is about how you finish.

Pylon 7v7 Tournament in Orlando 2018
February 5, 2018
This was my first 7v7 tournament and I did not play well enough to win. My team TOP CHOICE ELITE went 1-4, we were in every game that we played but, turnovers, and failure to complete drives were not enough to win. My stats were 4 touchdowns 0 interceptions in 5 drives, it was not enough to win. I had a great time in orlando and can not wait for the next tournament to compete in and improve in capitalizing on every drive.
NAIA Showcase 2017 in Daytona Beach
December 18, 2017
This past weekend I participated in the NAIA showcase in Daytona Beach, Florida. My ID number on my shirt was 1575 and I had a blast, competed, threw well and ran a 4.9 40 yard dash. I separated myself by showing leadership in the Quarterback group. Over the past year I have realized how important the leadership skill is.
First track meet
February 12, 2016
On Thursday I competed in my first track meet as a high school athlete. Since I was doing basketball I couldn't make it to a lot of the practices so I was a little under prepared. I ran the 100 in 12.85 seconds and the 200 in 24 seconds. I really think that I can get better with going to more practices. I can't wait for the rest of the season and how fast I can get for football and basketball season.
