BiographyI attend a high school with high academic standards & athletic expectations that pushes me to do my best. As 6X District & Area Champs our team is focused first on doing well in school while working hard to have a great volleyball team. By earning 1st Team All District Middle Blocker & the Academic Excellence Award I've learned that through hard work goals can be achieved. Being one of only 2 freshman on Jv & then Varsity for 2 years pushed me to work harder to meet Team expectations. The older girls were great role models encouraging me to do my best while mentoring me in life situations. Now I have the leadership role to mentor upcoming girls to help the team keep improving. Outside of school I volunteer with my church in the children's program & have been a VBS leader for 3 years. I've had the opportunity to work with the Special Needs Adults group in our community through Lakepointe Church, they are inspiring & fun to be around. I have also joined Family Community Career Leaders of America & I'm learning so much about how I can impact my community. I'm excited about what our group can do in the future. Some of my interests include horseback riding, traveling, & being with family. Recruited to play up on Skyline 17 Black last year was challenging & pushed me to work even harder to earn the starting middle position. My new club team Excel 17 Red is fearless, funny & determined to do well at Nationals! We won our 1st tournament & are now competing in Tour of Texas Stop 2!
