Biography

Soccer has been my life since I was 7 years old and has grown as a player and a teammate ever since then. I have been all-state three years in a row when I attended Chelsea High school in Alabama and this year my coach at Allen D Nease High School nominated me for all state selection. When I lived in Alabama I played for a club team name BUSA ECNL and we made it to nationals. On a side note, the most important part about being a student athlete is the grades and I am an A & B student, but mostly A's this year. I work hard everyday to make myself better. I am a very caring person and family is my number one priority. My teammates are very important to me also. I am definitely a team player all the way!!

Nease Overcomes Two Goal Deficit To Tie Fleming Island
December 15, 2015
Nease overcomes two goal deficit to tie Fleming Island Posted: December 11, 2015 - 11:41pm | Updated: December 12, 2015 - 12:12am By WILL BROWN will.brown@staugustine.com Birmingham is known for its steel production. Friday night, the steely resolve of a transplant from Alabama’s largest city helped Nease secure a result in a girls soccer match. Megan Young’s 75th minute goal allowed the Panthers to tie Fleming Island 2-2 in Clay County. Despite being denied by a pair of strong saves from Golden Eagles goalkeeper Sam Materazzi in the 11th minute as well as the 49th, the 5-foot-10-inch center forward buried her late chance when it came to her. “It felt pretty awesome to do it for my team,” said Young, who moved to St. Johns County in September. “We had been working hard for a half. All of us were not putting our chances away. …It felt good to put it away for my team.”
